Dr. Temika Morris-Washington is an educator, speaker, coach, and founder of Education as Ministry. With more than 21 years of experience serving students, families, and communities, she spent much of her career helping others succeed while quietly battling her own struggles with depression, anxiety, abandonment, rejection, and the relentless pressure to prove her worth through achievement.

For years, she pursued titles, positions, and accomplishments believing that success in academia would provide the validation, identity, and fulfillment she was seeking. Instead, she discovered that true wholeness could not be found in a career, a title, or the approval of others. It could only be found through the renewing of her mind, healing from past wounds, and developing a deeper understanding of who God created her to be.

 

As she committed herself to the work of healing and wholeness, she began to recognize that many of the women around her were carrying similar burdens—struggling with trauma, limiting beliefs, unhealthy patterns, rejection, fear, and a lack of understanding about their true identity.

This realization gave birth to Education as Ministry, a faith-based platform dedicated to helping women move beyond information and into transformation. Through teaching, coaching, and transformational learning experiences, Dr. Morris-Washington helps women recognize limiting beliefs, renew their minds, embrace their God-given identity, and walk confidently in purpose.

Her mission is to educate the mind, cultivate understanding, heal the heart, strengthen the spirit, and empower women to live whole, healed, and purpose-filled lives.
